Mission Statement

We provide leadership challenges, programs, and coaching to veterans and their families to enhance empathy, communication, teamwork, and social skills, so youth can then use these concepts to lead others. 

Who Are We? What are we about? 

We are a group of military veterans with a broad range of skills who came together to use all the remarkable things we've learned about leadership, our professional certifications and expertise to run LEADership programs for our local community. "LEAD" stands for Learn, Explore, Apply, Do...which is the way we teach fundamental life skills! Each participant will get a chance to learn and practice leadership skills and how to apply them.  

We offer summer camps, custom programs, and coaching in:

* Horsemanship

* Aviation Flying Operations

* X-traordinary Sports (Rugby & Lacrosse to name a few!)

Each program is in honor of a friend or colleague we've lost in Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. 

"Parwana" means butterfly in Dari and is a common name in Afghanistan;

our PROGRAMs give children and youth wings to fly in their own communities!

Our Focus Areas

Equine LEAD    

Often called Equine Assisted Learning or Equine Guided Education, the “special force” between human and horse is centuries old. Horses do not hide their emotions, so they offer a mirror to show us humans how we may be presenting ourselves to others.

Aviation LEAD

Aviation is a true passion and calling for many, and often the love of the sky starts with a simple introduction to flight. While we do not provide the actual flights, we teach the basics of aerospace dynamics, we visit a military aviation squadron, we tour a remotely piloted aircraft facility, and we slip the surly bonds of earth in an aircraft simulator!

Sports LEAD

Rugby is one of the biggest sports in the world, but it is not as prominent in the United States. Our sports camps teach the basics of rugby and lacrosse as well as several other sports, but we use these sports to emphasize the leadership skills essential to winning in life: sportsmanship, communication, grit, problem-solving, and teamwork.
