About
In Honor of our dear friends...
When 1 Lt Roz Schulte, a 2006 Air Force Academy graduate, gave the ultimate sacrifice in Afghanistan, friends and family showed up in droves to pay her respects. They made silver bracelets in remembrance of her love and compassion and on the inside is inscribed the Malloy quote, "When all that's left of me is love, give me away." That saying captures what we're trying to do here: leave a legacy in honor of our military service members who have passed on before their time.
Major Adrianna Vorderbruggen played rugby and loved her wife and son. She left us too early as she gave all in combat.
Captain Pedersen-Keel was an Army warrior and a family man. His mother sent us a small glass bluebird to help us never forget her son's sacrifice.
Specialist Tracy Hebert served in the Army and loved his family and working with horses.
Captain Matthew Roland, a 2010 Air Force Academy graduate, risked his own life to save others during an attack in Afghanistan.
The entire crew of Independence 08, Captain Brandon Cyr, Captain Reid Nishizuka, SSgt Daniel Fannin, and SSgt Richard Dickson, flew an MC-12w in harrowing conditions over the mountains of Afghanistan. They paid the ultimate price and we honor their story or their spirits.
The list goes on...and on...and we must never forget. We started these camps to take the best parts of our friends and pass on their legacy to the next generation. We're combining our skills, resources, and what we know about leadership to provide unique leadership camps to teach youth how to become leaders in their own classrooms and communities.
